"Kargil Vijay Diwas"

"Courage Unmatched, Sacrifices Unforgettable."
Helping students develop the spirit of patriotism and respect for the war heroes is very crucial as this goes a long way in moulding them into future nation builders and protectors.

To commemorate the matchless valour and sacrifices made by our war heroes Kargil Vijay Diwas was observed at Bensons International Academy. Students of grade Nursery to grade 6 participated in various activities to pay tribute to the martyrs of Indian Armed Forces who sacrificed their lives and won the war at Kargil on 26th July, in the year 1999. It was done with the view to salute the real heroes of the nation and inspire the students to take a stand for a patriotic cause.

Activities like making Indian flag batches, Posters and collage making were conducted, in order to instill a sense of patriotism in the students, and also tap upon their skills of creativity and imagination. The students of classes Nursery-VI demonstrated their patriotism by drafting The beautiful posters, and thought provoking slogans were proof enough to know our students' love and respect for their nation as well as the war heroes. Grade 9 students gave a spectacular dance performance which gave a strong message about the burning desire every young Indian has to prove his love and honour for India. Teachers enacted a Street Play to create awareness about the great sacrifices made by the war heroes and their families.

Academic Director Madam Rachna Gorle and Principal Madam Josephine.Gunti applauded the efforts of the Staff and students , appreciated the parents and the teachers for motivating the students to display intense commitment, sincere love and patriotism for their motherland. The observance of this historic day was successfully achieved with the support of the Management, the valuable guidance of our Academic Director Madam Rachana Gorle, Principal Madam Josephine Gunti and the tireless efforts of the entire staff and students
